– BROCTON — While patrolling the village, a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Investigator observed two Brocton males carrying a large double sink from the area of the Green Arch Diner around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Matthew Furman, 38, of 6048 Dahlberg Road, and Floyd Tolbert, 51, of 23 Fay St., were identified as the individuals. The owner of the diner was contacted and stated he never gave neither men permission to take the sink from behind the diner. Further investigation led to both being charged with petit larceny. They are to be in Portland court later.
