— Justin M. Rowe, 23, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of petit larceny. Officers responded at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday to Prendergast Avenue and Price Street for a reported suspicious person allegedly entering vehicles. Officers were able to identify Rowe as the suspicious male. Rowe was found to have allegedly broken into two separate vehicles in a driveway at a residence in the north end of the city during earlier morning hours and stole property from two separate victims. He was taken into custody and transported to jail. Later on, officers designated to the Jamestown City Jail observed Rowe attempt to conceal fentanyl inside his jail cell. Rowe then allegedly attempted to conceal a small piece of tinfoil containing the substance by hiding it inside his blanket. Upon investigation, the tinfoil was found to contain less than one gram of fentanyl. Rowe was scheduled to appear in court later.
— Tonya L. Earley, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers at 10 a.m. Wednesday checked a suspicious female behind 50 S. Main St. Earley was allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia and a quantity of hydrocodone pills. While in the jail, Earley was also found to be concealing a small quantity of methamphetamine along with a glassine envelope that contained LSD.
