JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Devin E. Haskell, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and aggravated harassment after an incident late Thursday.
At approximately 10:42 p.m., a victim called 911 reporting that a male was attempting to force entry into their residence. Officers responded to the scene shortly after and located Haskell still attempting to gain entry into the residence. Haskell was immediately taken into custody by officers. ‘
A subsequent investigation revealed that Haskell, who did not know the victim, repeatedly threatened to kill the victim, while calling the victim racial epithets. While attempting to force entry, Haskell caused more than $1,500 in damage to the victim’s residence. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
— Mohamed Y. Alhaj, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of cannabis, unlawful dealing with fireworks, and consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, officers observed a vehicle bearing a switched license plate in the area of Forest and Columbia avenues. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver of the vehicle as Mohamed Y. Alhaj. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Alhaj was in possession of nearly 5 pounds of commercially produced Psilocin gummies, over 16 ounces of cannabis, fireworks and various other commercially prepared THC and Mushroom products. Alhaj was taken into custody without incident and held pending arraignment in the
Jamestown City Jail.
— Trea L. Buchanan, 30, Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
At 3:20 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the southside of Jamestown for a fight. Upon arrival officers learned the incident was a Domestic Dispute. Officers learned the defendant, Buchanan, violated a duly served order of protection to stay away from the victim. Buchanan was placed into custody and held pending arraignment.
— Douglas E. Martin, 60, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
At about 4;33 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a domestic dispute at an address on the east side. During the investigation it was found that Martin pinned a female victim against the wall by her neck. Martin then pulled her property off of her which he knew contained her phone so she could not call the police.
During the altercation the victim was able to get away to a neighbors residence until police arrived. Officers placed Douglas into custody and during a search incident to arrest officers located a quantity of Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual films and a quantity of Fentanyl in Martin’s possession. While putting Martin into the patrol vehicle Douglas refused to get into the vehicle
then lunged at officers. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— CHERRY CREEK — At about 5:21 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a vehicle complaint. After an investigation, it was determined Chad D. Silleman 42, of South Dayton, did damage property belonging to another person. Silleman also did communicate a threat of physical harm to another person. He was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
