JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Briana A. Winslow, 35, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 2 with having an outstanding Jamestown City Court Warrant, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 9:54 p.m., officers responded to a southside residence for a report of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Winslow was being disorderly within the residence. Upon making contact with Briana, she allegedly grabbed her 4-year-old daughter, in an attempt to prevent officers from being able to take her into custody. Police said Winslow continued to scream, kick at officers, and throw herself around her bed, all while holding onto her daughter, and after a brief period of time, the child was safely taken from Winslow. While officers were attempting to place Winslow into custody, she allegedly continued to resist arrest and refused to place her hands behind her back. After a brief struggle, Winslow was placed into custody. She was taken to city jail and will be in city court later.

– Leonela E. Rodriguez, 35, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 5 with third-degree criminal tampering. According to police, at about 10:29 p.m., Rodriguez was allegedly involved in a fight at 7-Eleven on North Main Street, and was charged with third-degree assault. She was placed into custody and taken to city jail. While in custody, at the city jail, at about 11:24 p.m., Rodriquez continued to be combative, and disorderly, and decided to relieve herself by defecating and urinating on the jail cell floor. She also allegedly attempted to kick at officers while also allegedly spitting at them.

– Elizabeth T. Abram, 21, no address given, was charged Oct. 8 with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and third-degree criminal mischief. According to police, at about 2:12 a.m., officers responded to a westside residence for a reported domestic dispute. Upon further investigation, it was found that Abram allegedly attacked the victim, and damaged property that belonged to the victim. It was also found, police said, that Abram violated an order of protection. Abram was taken into custody without incident and taken to city jail. She will be in city court later.

– Darius T. Walker, 25, no address given, was charged Oct. 8 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. According to police, at about 9:26 p.m., officers responded to a northside address for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation, it was found that Walker had allegedly damaged property belonging to the victim, and while in the presence of a small child, Walker allegedly applied pressure to the neck or throat of the victim. Walker was placed into custody, and taken to city jail. He will be in city court later.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Hannah R. Emery, 21, of Westfield was charged Oct. 3 with second-degree harassment. According to police, at about 9:10 p.m., officers were called to a Backman Avenue residence for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation it was found that Emery allegedly subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact. Emery will be in Westfield Town Court later.

– Merritt Wolcott, 34, of Brocton, was charged Oct. 3 with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and using a mobile device in a motor vehicle. According to police, at about 12 p.m., an officer conducted a vehicle

and traffic stop due to the fact that the operator was allegedly in violation of operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile phone. Police said when the officer attempted to issue the traffic summons to Wolcott, Wolcott refused to accept the summons, and demanded that the officer leave him alone. After several failed attempts to reason with Wolcott, the officer placed Wolcott into custody. Wolcott will be in town court later.

– Jada M. Larkin, 22, no address given, was charged Oct. 8 with trespass. According to police, at about 1:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespass at the Dollar General located at 7612 Route 20. While enroute, officers were advised that Larkin had fled the scene. She was located a short distance away, and upon further investigation it was found that Larkin had previously been formally trespassed from the store, and had re-entered the premises after being advised not to. She will be in town court later.
