Deputies say driver who hit bicyclist was drunk

A Dunkirk man who allegedly hit a bicyclist while intoxicated over the weekend was arrested. On Saturday around 9:45 p.m. Deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury accident on Route 60 in the town of Dunkirk where a subject was struck on a bicycle. Prior to Deputies arrival the suspect fled the scene, but was later located due to a witness following the vehicle into the city of Dunkirk. The operator was found to be Pascual Pablo-Domingo, 52. A Brant couple who own a farm and had more than 200 of their animals seized have pleaded guilty after being arrested late last year on neglect charges. According to officials, at about 11:54 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 83 in the town of Cherry Creek. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Paul R. Briggs, was charged June 3 with third-degree trespass. According to police, at about 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a Southside address for a reported trespass in progress. Upon arrival, police said, officers located Briggs inside the residence. Officers were advised that the address was condemned by the Jamestown Department of Development. Briggs was placed into custody, and taken to the Jamestown City Jail.
