JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Taylor M. Crofoot, 22, of Jamestown was charged April 26 with driving while intoxicated, speeding, and no/insufficient tail lamps. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers were on patrol in the downtown area, near Spring and Fourth streets, when they observed a vehicle with no tail lights on, traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers, police said, stopped the vehicle, and determined that the operator, Crofoot, allegedly was driving while intoxicated.
