A 26-year-old man is being charged after a high-speed chase that led to an accident at East Second and Main streets on Thursday night. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — ELLERY — Around 8:53 p.m. Friday, deputies were dispatched to a reported vehicle complaint. It was reported the vehicle was operating at a high rate of speed and was all over the road. Deputies did locate the vehicle in a ditch. Through an investigation it was found the operator, Frank G. Hagberg, 50, of Jamestown, was operating while intoxicated. Hagberg was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Erin R. Dale, 43, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief, and Resisting Arrest. According to police, at about 5:42 p.m., officers responded to the city’s south side for a report of a domestic incident. Upon further investigation, officers learned that Dale allegedly damaged property during the dispute, and after she was told she was under arrest, Dale attempted to prevent officers from taking her into custody.
