MOOG endorses Dream It Do It program certification

MOOG is partnering with Dream It Do It Western New York to support efforts to build a talent pipeline into manufacturing careers. Representatives of MOOG officially endorsed the Dream It Do It Advanced Manufacturing Program (DIDIAMP) Certification. Solar company submits wetlands permit application

York Run Solar, LLC recently filed a joint application with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a wetlands permit which includes a submission of a water quality certification to the New York State Office of Renewable Energy Siting and Electric Transmission. Hanover talks personnel, upcoming events

HANOVER — A number of personnel items and issues have been addressed in the past month. The Town Board approved a title change of Alex Fenske to full-time Assistant Inspection Officer at a rate of $23 per hour. The title of Ronald Raczka was also changed to part-time Assistant Inspection Officer and part-time Clerk II at a rate of $22.50 per hour. Sheridan site wins Empire State Development funding

A Chautauqua County location has been selected for funding by Empire State Development under the Focused Attraction of Shovel-Ready Tracts New York program. According to a news release issued Tuesday, the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency is receiving $675,000 for a town of Sheridan effort. This predevelopment project will allow for shovel-ready advancement of the long-vacant 657-acre Eagle Bay site.
