DiNapoli says Medicaid billing errors cost state more than $1.5 billion

The state Health Department has allowed more than $1.5 billion in improper Medicaid payments over the course of several years due to errors in its billing system and may have exposed patients to unqualified and uncredentialed health care providers, according to three reports released recently by state Comptroller Thomas P. Workshop to be held in Kennedy for berry growers

On Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 4 to 6 p.m., The Berry Patch in Stephentown and Abers Acres in Kennedy will host concurrent berry production workshops in collaboration with Cornell University. The Fredonia Business Club Inc. will be hosting its inaugural golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 2 at Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk.
