Scouts hosting can, bottle drive

Fredonia Scout Troop 267 is hosting a year-round can and bottle drive fundraiser. Those who want to donate can drop off their empty bottles and cans at Can Kings Redemption Center, 112-114 E. Main St., Fredonia, and simply let Can Kings know the donation is to support Troop 267.

Senior Citizen Groups resume meeting

Silver Creek and Sheridan Senior Citizen Groups to resume meetings.

The Silver Creek Senior Citizens will meet on Tuesday, May 4 at 1 p.m. Pizza, coffee and soft drinks will be served. Meetings will be every Tuesday after that.

The Sheridan Senior Citizens will meet on Friday, May 13 at noon. Their meetings will resume on the second Friday every month. Members will have their temperature taken when they arrive, and COVID-19 measures and social distancing will be observed.

Both groups request that anyone who feels ill should not attend these meetings.

Antique Equipment Association meeting Tuesday

The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at the Laona Church. All members are invited to attend.
