Churches to hold outdoor services

Park Church Cassadaga, Park Church Church Sinclairville and Bemus Point United Methodist Church will hold a joint outdoor service, Sunday, Aug. 21 in Bemus Point Village Park. Lunch will be served afterward. Then on Sunday, Aug. 28 the three churches will hold another joint outdoor service, this time in Minkler Commons, in downtown Sinclairville. Lunch will be served afterward. Both services will begin at 10 a.m.

Steel retirees meet on Tuesday

SOAR Chapter 4-1 will meet on Tuesday at noon in the Steelworkers Union Hall on Fourth Street in Dunkirk. All retirees are invited to attend.

Pomfret offices to be closed

The town of Pomfret clerk’s office will be closed Thursday and the Pomfret Town Hall will be closed Friday.
