The theme for June is Freedom. The annual Flower Communion and “The Power of Commitment” with Rev. Ron Skowronski will be this week.
In this time of extreme political and social upheaval, the question that haunts all too many is, “What do I value and to what extent?? Our minister will reflect on this timely subject. Is commitment to “cause” as important as it once was. Does it really make a difference? Is “sacrifice” in the collective vocabulary anymore? All are welcome as we ponder the answers to these questions. During this service we will also recognize several new members with a brief ceremony.
If you attend in person, please bring a flower or a sprig of greenery to share during our traditional Flower Communion ceremony. If you attend on Zoom, please have a flower, bud or plant to share via Zoom.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love. We are a congregation that nurtures acceptance, spirituality, and growth while guided by Unitarian Universalist Principles.
