SHERIDAN — The auxiliary for Sheridan VFW Post 6390 met at the post on Monday. Adopting a unit in the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, who will be deployed, was discussed and the group is getting more specific information.

Members in attendance thought this was a great idea. A bake sale was decided on for Feb. 6 at the post to coincide with the Flea Market and the Friday night fish fry. The next meeting will be Monday, Feb. 9, 6:30 at the post. The group is always seeking new members who want to become involved. If you are interested, please contact Beckie Ross at rhuberross@stny.rr.com for more information.
