SUNY sponsors two ‘Great Wednesdays’ The State University of New York at Fredonia will be sponsoring two of the “8 Great Wednesdays in the Park” put on by Festivals Fredonia. The free, family-friendly concert series will run every Wednesday in Barker Common from July 1 through Aug. 19. Preshow activities will start at 5:30 p.m. and the music will be on from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. SUNY Fredonia, which is celebrating 200 years, is sponsoring the July 8 Americana Night with Unknown Legends night and Blues Night with Jeff Fetterman on Aug. 19.
