Fred Basket announces hours On Saturday, June 21, Fred Basket previously known as The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Ave. Additionally, it is open Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Guests may only receive one helping a month. Village planning brush pickup Monday The village of Fredonia will be picking up limbs and yard waste beginning Monday at 7 a.m. Collection will continue until every village street has been completed. Bags and brush are collected separately by different crews. All items for collection must be at the curb no later than 7 Monday morning. In no case will there be a repeat collection of areas completed. All yard waste must be bagged or in barrels.
