Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders at the State University of New York at Fredonia will resume offering support group meetings for stroke and head injury survivors and family members. Museum calls for items related to Italian-American History The Darwin R. Barker Museum is requesting items related to the history of Italian-Americans in Fredonia and Pomfret. Italian immigrants have been a significant part of local history since they first started arriving in the 1880s – eventually making up over one-fifth of the village population–but the museum’s collection does not yet reflect that history. NCCS planning spaghetti dinner Northern Chautauqua Catholic School in Dunkirk is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the school gymnasium on Washington Avenue.
