Laona Egg Hunt Saturday The Laona/town of Pomfret Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday March 30, at 10 a.m. It will be at the Laona playground on Route 60 (parking lot on Porter Road.) This is for ages newborn to 11 years. Older kids may come to help the younger ones. Organizers will have a bunny raffle and also two 24 inch bikes will be given away. Brocton-Portland Seniors meet Tuesday BROCTON — Brocton-Portland Seniors met on Feb. 27 at Tri-Church with 42 members and one guest present. Emma McBride was welcomed as a new member. President Margaret Jagoda opened the meeting with a prayer by Christine Gilardo and Doug Chatley's Pledge of Allegiance by members, followed by a tureen lunch. There were three birthdays.
