Dunkirk canceling recycling pickup Monday The City of Dunkirk Department of Public Works announces that, in anticipation of the Solar Eclipse and closure of the North County Transfer Station, unsorted recycling pickup scheduled for April 8th has been canceled. Fredonia to collect yard waste beginning Monday The village of Fredonia will be picking up limbs and yard waste beginning Monday, April 1, at 7 a.m. Collection will continue until every village street has been completed. Bags and brush are collected separately by different crews. All items for collection must be at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday. There will not be any repeat collection of areas completed.
