Several COVID-19 vaccination clinics are taking place this week in Chautauqua County, providing several opportunities for those looking to get the previously coveted shots. The abundance of doses come as 43,083 county residents have completed their vaccination series, according to the state’s online tracker, along with 51,997 who have received at least one shot. COVID hospitalizations, active cases flat locally

The number of Chautauqua County residents with COVID-19 inside the hospital remain flat, as do active cases and those in quarantine. According to information released Tuesday by the county Health Department, there were 10 hospitalizations, 112 active cases and 370 in quarantine. The county recorded 17 new cases of the virus, with five coming from Brocton, four in Jamestown, three in Dunkirk, and one each in Fredonia, Irving, Bemus Point, Clymer and Sinclairville.
