SILVER CREEK — A man who threatened others with a knife is facing charges.

Around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department patrol responded to a report of a disorderly subject in the road.

Upon arrival, deputies located Joshua D. Adams, 33, of Silver Creek being disorderly. Following an investigation it was determined that Adams had engaged in a physical altercation with others, which resulted in him retreating from the area and arming himself with a knife.

Upon his return, he then raised the knife and threatened the lives of the individuals at that location. He was taken into custody without incident and will be in the Town of Hanover court at a later date.
