Buffalo Man Charged With Sex Abuse In Westfield

A Buffalo man has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse.

According to a news release, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies began an investigation March 13, 2025, into an allegation of a past-tense sex offense. On Thursday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office announced a charge of first-degree sexual abuse against David D. Walden, 40, of Buffalo. The location listed by the Sheriff’s Office was Route 20 in Westfield. A warrant was issued for Walden and he was arrested for the charge of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Walden was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail where he was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Program to be in court later.
