A South Dayton man will be serving time after being convicted of receipt of child pornography. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Wednesday that Joseph A. Buelow, 31, was sentenced to serve 108 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J Vilardo. In February 2024, the West Seneca Police Department seized Buelow’s phone, based on communications he was having online. A vehicle pursuit early Sunday morning has led to charges in the city of Dunkirk. At approximately 3:56 a.m., Dunkirk Police observed a vehicle strike a parked vehicle on the 400 block of Washington Avenue. The officer attempted to conduct a vehicle and traffic stop on the vehicle, however the driver failed to comply. A vehicle pursuit ensued.
