No one was injured in a crash between a flat-bed truck and car Friday around 10:30 a.m. on Fredonia-Stockton Road in the town of Pomfret. According to State Police, the driver of the car drifted into the lane of the flat bed truck, striking it on its side. The flat bed was hauling a large lawn mower, which was knocked off the truck and was damaged after it hit the ground. The car was heavily damaged as well. The Fredonia Fire Department responded to the scene. The crash caused Fredonia-Stockton Road to be temporarily closed.
