Fredonia Farmers’ Summer Market Opening today

Saturday, May 18, marks the opening of the Fredonia Farmers’ Market summer season. They will be moving from their winter market location at the Fredonia Masonic Lodge to Church Street in downtown Fredonia. As the weather warms and the growing season takes off, each week will bring more vendors and an expanding selection of vegetables, fruits, and plants.

Most of the regular winter vendors continue through the summer season, offering delicious baked goods (including gluten-free), meats, eggs, honey, maple products, fruit preserves, pure beeswax candles, herbal products, and artisan-quality craft goods.

The market will have a great line-up of music, special events, and food demos featuring seasonally available produce throughout the summer market season. Check the OBSERVER Community Calendar, WDOE, FFM Facebook page, and fredoniafarmersmarket.org for weekly news and updates.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market is open on Saturdays, May 18 through Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 1p.m, rain or shine.
