‘City Speaks’ continues with Chautauqua Hospice

This week, “City Speaks” will continue its discussion with representatives of the Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care organization: Shauna Anderson, CEO, Dr. Laila Denoya, Dr. Tom Putnam and MSW Rachel Smith. Hospice provides a valuable service to our residents and their families who are suffering with end of life decisions. For this important segment, Denoya will interpret the many questions and conversations into Spanish for our Spanish speaking audience.

Please join “City Speaks” this week to learn about the care and compassion that is available to the many individuals facing end of life care, as well as to those self sacrificing caregivers. (Note: This episode of “City Speaks” will be televised in two parts due to its length. Part one went on air Nov. 7 and part two will air beginning Nov. 14.)

“City Speaks” can be viewed in Dunkirk daily on Spectrum 1301 at 3 p.m. and 110 p.m. or by going to www.dunkirkaccess.com and viewing it on YouTube at your convenience.

If you have questions, comments or concerns that you would like to have Mayor Wilfred Rosas or a member of his administration answer on “City Speaks,” please send those to: Vicki Westling, City Hall, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY 14048; email vwestling@cityofdunkirk.com; or call Westling direct at 363-6888.

“City Speaks” is a show that provides our residents with insight into the happenings around the city and within Mayor Rosas’ administration.
