Lake Shore Savings Bank awards grants

Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Lake Shore Savings Bank recently announced that the bank has awarded $14,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations throughout Erie and Chautauqua counties.

The Bank’s Community Reinvestment Committee, comprised of four members from the local communities, is charged with reviewing all submitted grant applications, and ultimately deciding which non-profits will receive grant awards, which are awarded twice a year. Employees of Lake Shore Savings Bank do not play a role in the decision-making process.

The following organizations were recipients of the latest grant awards:

¯ Food Bank of WNY.

¯ Chautauqua Opportunities Inc.

¯ Robert H Jackson Center.

¯ United Way of Northern Chautauqua County.

¯ Boutwell Hill Ski Club, Inc.

¯ Feed The Children (and Senior Citizens)Program

¯ Northlake Family Recreation Center

¯ SABAH

¯ Seneca Street CDC

¯ Chautauqua County Office for the Aging
