One new positive case, a male in his 30s, was also announced. According to the county’s map, it is in the northern portion of the county.

There have been 160 negative test results to date.

In addition, there are several individuals who have received isolation and quarantine orders by the Public Health Director. This includes:

— 17 individuals in Mandatory Quarantine (individuals confirmed positive of COVID-19 or a household contact of a confirmed positive COVID-19 case);

— 19 individuals in Precautionary Quarantine (individuals with travel history to CDC level 3 country or proximal contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19);

— 76 individuals in Mandatory Isolation (individuals who are symptomatic of COVID-19 and are pending COVID-19 lab test); and

During today’s county update, Health Director Christine Schuyler said there are 46 ventilators currently at county health facilities and 252 beds. In addition, there are 21 intensive care unit beds.

For now, Schuyler believes the hospital are prepared. But, if a surge comes, Brooks-TLC Hospital System may be forced to reopen Lakeshore Hospital. As of today, there is no timetable for that.
