Jamestown man charged in porn case with minors
JAMESTOWN — A city man is facing five counts of sexual abuse charges after pornographic images of minors were found on his computer.
Investigators from the State Police in Jamestown charged Misael Romero-Vasquez, 21, with possessing images of a sexual performance by a child.
Troopers received the child pornography case from Troop A Headquarters Computer Crimes Unit. A subsequent investigation including a search warrant with the assistance of Homeland Security at Romero-Vasquez’s address led to the discovery of five pornographic images of minors on his computer.
Romero-Vasquez was processed at Jamestown barracks and released with appearance tickets. He is to appear in the city of Jamestown Court next month.
