MAYVILLE — Two helicopters have been called to the scene of a “serious crash” in front of Chautauqua Institution this morning.

The crash was reported around 11:15 a.m. Fire officials said up to four people suffered injuries and would require transport to the hospital.

A landing zone for the helicopters has been set up at Lakeside Park in Mayville.

A portion of Route 394 in front of the institution is being closed to traffic due to the crash.
