Holiday happenings set for Grape Discovery Center

WESTFIELD — Everyone at the Grape Discovery Center is gearing up for the holiday season. The Center features a variety of gifts and tasty treats to help you resolve even the most difficult gift-giving situation.

Begin your visit with a tasting of the mulled wine made from Johnson Estate Red Ipocras. It’s a warm, blend of wine, apple cider, with a few added spices, and it’s sure to take the chill off. The wine shop features several local wineries, so it’s a one-stop shop for all your favorites, or perhaps for a wine you’ve yet to try or a gift for someone on your list. You’ll also want to enter the Holiday Gift Basket Raffle for a chance to win a basket full of goodies.

Why not create your own gift basket? Baskets are available on site. You can choose from items in the gift and wine shop to include in your personalized basket. Our staff will gladly arrange the basket for you and provide cellophane overwrap and a bow. “Bingo!” Your gift is ready to go. Complimentary gift wrapping is also available for any purchase.

And when you come to visit, help us help others. Bring in a new winter hat, gloves, mittens or scarf and help us decorate our “Giving Tree.” All items collected will be donated to a local organization in need.

Masks are required, social distancing is enforced and sanitizer is available. Sign in when you arrive to keep the Center in compliance with Contact Tracing requirements.

The Center is located at 8305 Main St., Hours of operation are every Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., so call 326-2003 during these hours if you have questions. The Center will close for the season at the end of the business day on Dec. 20.
