Middle schoolers set for return to Fredonia

As Fredonia Central School District Superintendent Dr. Bradley Zilliox and the school board have seen grades three, four, five, and 12 all return to in-person instruction in recent weeks — with grades nine, 10, and 11, on the way in the coming weeks — the only remaining question marks that remained were grades six, seven, and eight.

At its meeting this week, those remaining questions were answered.

Zilliox, with the help of the school board and the Return to School committee they assembled, announced Tuesday night that grade six will return to in person instruction on Monday, and grades seven and eight will return a week later, on March 22. All of these grade levels will be in person five days of the week.

“Great job by our grades six, seven, and eight teams finding workable solutions to make this happen,” said Dr Zilliox.

Grade six will be returning the day before grade nine, and grades seven and eight will be returning the day before grades 10 and 11, as all of the high school grades will retain their remote learning day on Mondays.

Starting at $3.50/week.
