Beaujean is a cook at the She Sings Cafe in Mayville, and workmates have been busy setting up a Go Fund Me Page (https://gofund.me/cb8bbfa1), taking cash donations at the cafe and now have planned a “an event like none other in the Village of Mayville,” said cafe owner Rebecca Magnuson.

On Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. She Sings Cafe will host the Spanish Paella and Sangria Fundraiser, and all are invited, according to Magnuson. There will be no cover charge for the fundraiser, however Magnuson requests that all interested parties who plan to attend call and make a reservation at (716) 224-1090, as soon as possible — for planning purposes.

Since the fire, She Sings Cafe has been able to raise $6,125 through their Go Fund Me page, as well as $800 donated in cash. Although the fundraiser has raised quite a bit of funds, Beaujean lost not only her house but all her possessions as well — “lucky, the only thing she did not lose was her loved ones,” Magnuson said.

Beaujean’s two grandchildren, daughter and husband were all home during the time of the fire and had to be hospitalized for smoke inhalation. There is much money and help still needed to get Beaujean and her loved ones back on their feet, according to Magnuson.

Osborne Nash are just one of the groups expected to perform at Sunday’s fundraiser event at She Sings Cafe in order to raise funds to help Tammy Beaujean. Beaujean lost her house to fire on Easter morning.

“We are raising funding to help Tammy as her home has burned down and family hospitalized — they lost everything except their loved ones…Thank God! Please help us help them,” said Magnuson. “Any financial donation at all is greatly appreciated to help them get another living space, clothing, food, etc. Even just your prayers and good wishes mean the world.”

“To everyone who has reached out and helped us raise 6K [$6,000] with our GoFundMe Campaign so far — and to those who have stopped by She Sings Cafe to drop off a cash donation or much needed items like dishware and clothing…we send an enormous THANK YOU,” said Magnuson.

Money is welcomed and very helpful in helping this family recover from their Easter tragedy, however according to Magnuson some items are still needed by the family.

“We need to raise so much more and we thank you in advance for anything you can do to help. He (Beaujean’s grandson) wears a size 2T; her granddaughter wears a girls size 16 and her daughter wears a women’s size 10 — if anyone is able to help donate these items,” said Magnuson. “The outpouring of love is reminding us all that there is definitely so much good and love in the world, and especially in our community.”
