Scudder seeking re-election to legislature

Bob Scudder
Chautauqua County Legislator Bob Scudder announces his candidacy for re-election in the Third District. The district includes the west side of the Village of Fredonia and the Town of Pomfret. Scudder is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.
As a 39-year resident of Fredonia, Scudder is invested in his community. He is the owner of East Main Laundry and Scudder’s Blueberry Farm. Scudder also previously owned Fredonia Hardware and The Mustard Seed Restaurant.
“I love serving the public in many different ways, but my favorite is as their County Legislator. I would be honored to continue serving for another term,” he said
As a legislator, Scudder has served on the Human Services Committee, Public Facilities Committee, Audit and Control Committee, and as Chairman of the Administrative Services Committee. He also serves on the Land Bank Committee and the Chautauqua County Parks Commission.
“Besides trying to keep taxes low and services high, being a part of a ‘politics free’ legislature and working solely for the good of our county residents is still what I am most proud of,” he said.
