The Dunkirk Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol is participating in the Wreaths Across America campaign this year.

The campaign honors deceased veterans by placing a balsam wreath on each grave. Wreaths are placed at more than 5,200 locations across the United States.

Locally, wreaths will honor veterans in Fredonia’s Forest Hill Cemetery. Wreaths can be purchased for $17. $5 from each purchase goes to support the Dunkirk air patrol squadron. Orders must be placed by Friday.

A wreath placement ceremony will be held Dec. 13 at noon in Forest Hill Cemetery. The public is welcome.
