Hall was assaulted sometime between July 20 and 21 in the area of 36 Water St. in Fredonia and died earlier this month at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa. Members of Hall’s family and friends shared stories and memories of Hall during the event before releasing balloons in his honor. Fredonia police, which did not publicly release information about the incident until Aug. 3, are seeking any information regarding the incident at 679-1531.
