Area graduates receive scholarships to pursue business-related degrees

Erica Rojas

Two area graduates recently received awards from scholarship funds that support students pursuing business-related degrees and are managed by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.

Erica Rojas and Dylan Scriven received the Chautauqua Cattaraugus Board of Realtors Scholarship.

The board of realtors scholarship fund provides two $500 scholarships each to students in good academic standing in Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. Preference is given to students pursuing a business-related degree.

Rojas, of Dunkirk High School, will attend the University of Buffalo to study political science, with the intention to pursue a JD in law. Scriven, of Westfield Academy, will study business administration at SUNY Fredonia.

Donations can be made to these scholarship funds at CRCF, 301 North Union St., Suite 203 in Olean, or online at cattfoundation.org
