North Lake Fire Department Holds Egg Hunt

The North Lake Fire Department recently had their Easter Egg Hunt. About 13,000 eggs were filled and hidden at Lakeside Park for the local children to find. The children were into different age groups for a total of three egg hunts. The ages were 0-4, 5-8, 9 and up. Webbs donated chocolate bunnies for some lucky children. There was also a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, who rode to Lakeside Park in the North Lake Fire Department Rescue Truck. Everyone had a great time and the weather cooperated that day also. SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on June 2 with 26 people in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. Pauline Flitt read a prayer of the day and a blessing of the members and food. Lunch consisted of ice cream sundaes and root beer floats and delicious pastries.
