The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate transactions in Chautauqua County at the clerk’s office in Mayville and recently looked at the transactions that took place April 1-15. During that time period, Orion Development RA XXXI, LLC of Weirton, WV sold 811 N. Main St., Jamestown to OFP Wagradol NY, LLC of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for $2,948,763. This is the address of Rite Aid Pharmacy.

There are two Rite Aids in the city, this one and 50 S. Main St. No announcement has been made if this store is changing or if this change was simply a change in building ownership.

There were 19 sales during this period of $250,000 or higher. Seven of them, including 811 N. Main St., were business-based sales. The other five were as follows:

¯ Corporate Crossings LLC of Cleveland, Ohio sold 245 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown to Shults Real Estate, LLC for $315,000. This property sits nearby other Shults dealerships.

In terms of private ownership, of the 12 sales that were $250,000 or higher, three were in the town of Ellery. The others were one each in the towns of Sheridan, Mina, Hanover, Busti, Pomfret, Dunkirk, Chautauqua, Portland and Ripley.
