Public help sought after reported bank robbery in Dunkirk
The Dunkirk Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a person tied to a reported bank robbery Wednesday.
A little after 1 p.m., officers responded to the KeyBank location, 51 E. Fourth St., in the city after receiving word of a robbery.
The department released two photographs of the alleged suspect. Dunkirk police did not release any further information on the suspect, including gender and whether any money was obtained.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Dunkirk Police Department at 716-366-2266 or the confidential tipline at 363-0313.
A sign said the Dunkirk KeyBank location was “temporarily closed” and advised customers to use its Angola branch.
