David A. Racino
David Anthony Racino, 57, died Thursday evening (September 10, 2015) at the Hospice Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga, NY.
He was born December 5, 1957 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Dominic and Lucy (Sinare) Racino.
Mostly a lifelong area resident of Dunkirk, Mr. Racino was a proud steelworker at Al-tech (Dunkirk Specialty Steels) for 21 years. Afterward he relocated to Orlando, Florida for 10 years and recently returned back to New York to be with his family.
Survivors include two sons, Ryan D. Racino of San Diego, CA and Nicholas J. Racino of Buffalo, NY; one daughter, Megan D. (Jason) Arter of Tonawanda, NY; one grandson, Jackson J. Arter; Sister Anita Rettig and Brother Richard Racino both of Dunkirk, NY and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father, Dominic A. Racino, who died Dec. 26 1986; Mother, Lucy A. Racino, who died March 15 2015; and infant son Michael A. Racino.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
