Cristina M. Alvarado age 42 of Dunkirk, New York died Thursday August 24, 2018. Cristina was born September 22, 1975 in Dunkirk to the late Maria Irma Serrano.
Cristina attended Dunkirk City Schools and graduated from Dunkirk High School. She worked at the Sheraton Hotel in Dunkirk and later in her life worked at Red Wing in Fredonia. She was a fan of WWF Wrestling, enjoyed the music of Bon Jovi, was an avid bingo, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sisters: Ada “Ivette” Mercado of Dunkirk and Rosemary (Kevin) Moore of Erie, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.
Calls may be made Sunday 5-8 at LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington Street, Dunkirk N.Y. Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
