Dana Rene Burkhart

Dana was born on March 26, 2003, in Annapolis, MD, the daughter of Michael Jason Burkhart, of Basehor, KS and Rebecca (George) Turk Leach of Forestville, N.Y.

Dana had attended Forestville Central School and then she did home schooling. She attended Family Church in Fredonia and she was involved in children’s church and youth group.

Dana enjoyed K Pop music, concerts and arts and crafts. While attending Forestville Central School she enjoyed being in school plays and participating in the talent shows. She loved her animals. Her two cats: Yuto and Lyra, two rabbits: Aneila and Pria and her hamster: Mingi. Dana was the best biggest sissy.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother: Isaiah “Bubba” Leach and her sister: Braelyn “Peanut” Washington both of Forestville, N.Y., maternal grandmother: Robin Green of Forestville, N.Y.; maternal grandfather: Howard (Liz) Turk of Millcreek, W.V.; her paternal grandmother Linda Burkhart (Jay Greenspun) of Basehor, KS; her paternal grandfather: Ron (Debra) Burkhart of Honolulu, HI; her great maternal grandparents: Lee and Diana Turk of Fredonia, N.Y. ; her step grandmother: Cindy Lou Ish of Bronson, MI; her uncle: Danny (Jackie) Allison of Bonner Springs, KS; her aunt: Tracy (Steve) Hetzler of Prince Frederick, MD; three close friends: Alice, Adrienne and Onyx and many cousins.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Forestville Fire Department, 18 Chestnut Street, Forestville, NY 14062.
