Felicia Ruiz

She was born May 19, 1946, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Encarnacion and Consuelo (Chevere) Pena.

A resident of Dunkirk since 2018, Felicia was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dunkirk. She was a loving wife, mom and friend, also well known for her good sense of humor.

Survivors include her husband, Bartolome Ruiz; two daughters, Deborah (Wilberto) Moran of Dunkirk and Doris E. Ruiz of Spring Valley, N.Y.; two sons, Luis Soto of Rochester and Jose J. Ruiz of Spring Valley, N.Y.; one sister, Carmen (Armando) Mercedes-Pena of Puerto Rico; a brother, Jorge Pena of Puerto Rico; five grandchildren, Nicole Soto, Siera Gotay, Quinton Soto, Kaylee Moran, Nathaly Ruiz; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Carlos M. Ruiz and Nelfel J. Gotay.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
