Patricia A. Parks

She was born on April 3, 1949 in Gowanda, daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn (McIntyre) O’Brien. On Oct. 9, 1971, at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Perrysburg, she married James Parks who survives.

For many years, she worked at the Gowanda Correctional Facility as the head account clerk in the business office. She was a proud member of the Gowanda Moose Lodge and Women of the Moose Chapter 651, since she was 18. Pat also served as past deputy grand regent through Moose International for the State of New York.

Besides her loving husband of 50 years, Pat is survived by three sons: Shawn (Sue) Parks of Gowanda, Timothy Parks of Las Vegas, and Kevin (Janet) Parks of Gowanda; as well as a sister-in-law, Sally O’Brien of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Jarrett, Felix, Dakota, Cailtin, Hunter, and Lexi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Pat is predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Tina Parks; and a brother, William O’Brien.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
