Mark Alan Blakeslee

Mark was born December 31, 1958, in Westfield, NY the son of Dale and Dorothy (Springer) lakeslee.

He had been employed for 34 years at Renold, Inc. in Westfield, NY as a machinist retiring in 2022.

Mark enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, but most of all spending time with his friends and family.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his 3 children, Dawn (Travis) Moffit of Portland, NY, Sarah E. Horton of Jamestown, NY, and Brandon Blakeslee of Rochester, Mn., siblings Brian Blakeslee of Mayville, NY, Debbie Blakeslee of Dallas, Tx., Tammy Haley of Todd, NC, and Nancy (Dennis) Kagey, of Flushing, MI. Also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his stepfather; Earl Haley, his beloved wife Tracy, son; Shannon S. Blakeslee and his sister Linda Blakeslee.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 5 -8 pm at the Mayville American Legion, 144 South Erie Street, Mayville, NY.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in honor of Mark be made to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 North Gale Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
