Patricia A. Patterson

She was born in Dunkirk, New York on Dec. 26, 1951, the youngest child of the late Anthony Sr and Florence (Conny) Dubiel.

Patty graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1969. She joined the telephone company the same year and retired after thirty-one years.

Patty was an active member of her church community and the Lake Shore Humane society in retirement. She was an avid knitter, crafting for her friends, family, and strangers, even selling her wares at local shops.

Patty is survived by her husband of 48 years, William C. Patterson, who she married on Feb. 19, 1977; sons Michael (Amber) Patterson, of Hyannis, MA and Mark (Amber) Patterson of Coxsackie, NY; three grandchildren, William, Lucy, and Calvin Patterson; her sister, Mary Ann (Thomas) Dascenzo of Dunkirk. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Viewing will be held at LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, on Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 1032 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, on Friday at 10 am.
