Gloria A. Ortel-Sarver, 92, of South Dayton, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Buffalo General Medical Center following a short illness. She was born in Dunkirk on July 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Steele) Strader. Gloria worked as an Aide at the former Singer Mental Health Center in Rockford, IL for 22 years. Previously, she worked for the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center in Helmuth for 10 years. She was a member of the First Assembly Church in Rockford, IL. Gloria enjoyed crocheting many afghans for family, loved organizing and liked doing puzzles. ...
