Patricia A. Pencek

Patricia “Pat” Pencek (Miller) left us way too early on August 6th, 2026. Pat was born on July 12, 1956. Pat was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She grew up in the Town of Dunkirk with eight siblings and graduated from Dunkirk High School. Pat worked at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School and REM Tronics, with her most important job being raising her two children, Joseph “Joe” (Lisa Kotar) and Sara as well as being Grandma to Sebastian, Lily, Owen, and Gavin. Pat could be found in the cafeteria at NCCS serving up “eyeballs” (grapes) for Halloween, donating her time ...

James W. Leach, 42, of Westfield NY passed away August 11, 2026. He was born October 2, 1983 in Minot, North Dakota to his late parents, Steven and Pamela (Prather) Leach. He is survived by a sister, Nicole Leach. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Morse Funeral Home Brocton, NY.

Dan Povhe age 79 of Gowanda passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday evening August 8, 2026. Born in Gowanda February 25, 1947 the son of Charles and Anna (Kastelic) Povhe. Charles Daniel Povhe graduated from Gowanda Central High School ; Class of 1965. After graduation he enlisted with the United States Army . Charles honorably served our country from 1966 to 1972.
