College effort greatly appreciated
Editor, OBSERVER:
It was such a welcome surprise when on a rainy Saturday morning, at least 10 college kids showed up to rake our lawn. We were the only house on our street who put a request on the window of the back door.
There are kids at the college who are willing to help and want to help, and they do an excellent job.
I think it’s such a worthy effort and I would to commend these young people for wearing their raincoats and working so hard helping our seniors. It was so gratifying.
