Beat The Champ to roll from Lucky Lanes in Fredonia

Watch when Ben Montague of Forestville, Tyler Molina from Cheektowaga, Tony Dolan from West Seneca and Matt Zasowski from Tonawanda roll.

“Beat The Champ” originally aired for decades on Channel 4 with legendary hosts Chuck Healy and Van Miller. While it has not been seen for close to 20 years, the competition remains one of the longest running bowling programs on television.

Now, “Beat The Champ” is co-hosted by veteran sportscaster Paul Peck and Greater Buffalo USBC Association Hall of Fame bowler Sue Nawojski. Peck worked for decades at “News 4” before becoming a financial advisor and play-by-play broadcaster for the UB Bulls football team. Janelle Sabin keeps the numbers on the Castilone Jeep, Chrysler, Plymouth Scoreboard.

The next tapings of the program are scheduled for Tuesday, April 25 at Manor Lanes II in Amherst.
